Freek and Estefi's journey began with a chance meeting in Istanbul, amidst the blend of East and West, much like their own lives. Just weeks later, Estefi made a spontaneous trip to the Netherlands and met up with Freek again, which sparked their desire to keep the conversation going. In Madrid, their late-night calls lead to Freek convincing Estefi to spend the summer with him before they set off on a whirlwind journey to Mexico and the U.S.. After that, the deal was sealed, and their long-distance relationship took shape.

Fast forward to now, and they’ve built a cozy life in Den Bosch, surrounded by old and new friends, and enjoying the perks of having part of their family close by. However, they’ve also learned to navigate the bittersweet feeling of missing their loved ones in Mexico. In February 2024, Freek popped the question to Estefi in New York, marking the start of a beautiful new chapter. Now, they invite you to celebrate their love story with them!
